FHWA will be conducting identical webinar sessions on Thursday, March 22 and Tuesday, March 27 from 10am to 12noon (PST). These webinars will be focused on the updated guidance related to the procurement, management, and administration of engineering and design related consultant services issued in July 2011.
The intent of these webinars is to provide FHWA, State DOTs, local public agencies, the consultant community, and the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) community with an informative session on key Federal requirements related to procurement, management, audits, negotiation, and contract administration which are discussed in the guidance. The webinar will not separately discuss each question and answer (Q&A). Rather, this webinar will generally highlight clarifications that were made to the Q&As in 2011. Simply click on “Register for this event” following the web conference details and provide the required information. A web link and conference call number to participate in the webinar session will be provided upon successful registration. Joint sessions will only require one registration.
To determine the interest in these sessions, we plan to poll participants during each session to gauge the number of participants on each connecting line. Depending on the demand for these sessions, additional webinar sessions may be scheduled. Additionally, a recording of the one of the above sessions will made available for viewing following the final scheduled session.
