FFY 2012 Delivery Status and Deadlines

This is to provide you with an update on the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2012 Delivery Status statewide of Local Formula Obligational Authority (OA) and to provide our anticipated deadlines for processing Requests for Authorizations for the remainder of the FFY.

Status on Delivery of Local Formula OA

As of mid-June we have delivered over 54% of the total formula OA ($1.26 billion statewide), and if we include requests in HQ and the District, this delivery number inflates to almost 85%.  Congratulations on the delivery-to-date and keep sending those RFA’s in!

Anticipated Processing Deadlines

Formula OA Projects – although we haven’t formally been notified by FHWA, we anticipate that these RFA’s will need to be received in the District by Monday, August 6 in order for us to route them through HQ and FHWA for the September FMIS shut down.

FTA Transfers – because the FTA typically stops processing these requests in August, we need to receive these in the District by Monday, July 16 in order for us to process through HQ, FHWA, and FTA.

Discretionary/Demo Projects – we have been requested to have FHWA obligate these funds no later than July 20 in order to reconcile for the August Redistribution effort, so these need to arrive at HQ by this Friday, July 6.  Therefore, these are due to the District ASAP!
