HSIP/HR3 Apps Received

We (District 3 Local Assistance) have received the following applications for the latest “Combined Call” for Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) and High Risk Rural Road Program (HR3) Projects.  These applications, which were due to us last Friday, July 20, will be reviewed here in the District, forwarded to our HQ, and ultimately an approved list will be broadcast in September.  Please contact John Hoole (530-741-5450) or Jim Day (530-741-5116) IMMEDIATELY if you don’t see your project on the list or if we have an incorrect listing.

About John Hoole

John, as the District Local Assistance Engineer, is responsible for the administration of the Local Assistance Program in District 3, which covers local and regional agencies in eleven Sacramento Valley and Northern Sierra Counties. He supervises a group of 10-12 Engineers and Planners who ensure delivery of State and Federal funds to the locals. His experience in the District includes Design, Project Management, and Programming, and prior to the District he worked as a Transportation Engineer with the Federal Highway Administration.
