D3LA, Staff change notice

Dear all,

As you may have noticed, our office has had some staff changes lately. Attached please find our latest business card that summarizes each staff’s responsible agencies and assignment. You can also find more detailed related information at D3LA website.

Two additions to the D3LA team:

• As of March 10, 2014, Steve Mattos will take over Jean-Marie Hunter’s place as the Right of Way Local Assistance coordinator. Jean-Marie Hunter has accepted a promotion to become the Senior RW Agent for the Division of High Speed Rail in Sacramento. We are excited that Steve chooses to work with our unit and assist our local agencies. Steve can be reached at (530) 741-4567 or steve.mattos@dot.ca.gov. Our Right of way unit is working on the transition this week. Please welcome Steve Mattos to our team!

• I am pleased to announce that Darlene Wulff has joined the District 3 Local Assistance office! Darlene will be working on bridge projects, currently assisting Michael McCollum and Bob Baca. She started her career with Caltrans in 2006 and worked in Design, Construction, and spent the last 6 years in Maintenance Engineering. Prior to Caltrans, she was an Area Engineer for an HDPE pipe manufacturer, an Applications Engineer for a crash attenuator company, and received a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. Her joy outside of work centers around her family which consists of my 4 year old daughter, 2 year old son, and supportive husband. Darlene is excited about the opportunity to work closely with our local agencies and assist them with their projects. She can be reached at (530)740-4992 or darlene.wulff@dot.ca.gov.

Thank you for tuning in. Have a great day!

  1. It has been a pleasure working with Jean-Marie, Gina Cuevas and Brian Goldman, the Right of Way Team in Local Programs/Local Assistance. I wish Jean-Marie all the best in her new position with the High Speed Rail Program. I am sure that as a Veteran Right of Way Agent Mr. Mattos will carry on in their tradition of exceptional service and direction in the delivery of local projects both On and Off System. Welcome aboard Steve and congrads Jean-Marie…..
