OA Delivery Plan, Prioritization, and PES’s

We have developed a District 3 Local Assistance 2014 delivery plan based on the OA delivery plan you submitted to your region. Projects that are going into Construction phase on the OA delivery plan are being identified by your geographical engineers and will be sent to our Environmental and Right-of-Way units for prioritization. If your project is NOT on the OA delivery plan for this year but due to any special circumstances it’s required to be prioritized, you may contact your geographical engineer by COB Thursday (05/01). Please provide justifications for the prioritization request, we will review and coordinate with our support units.

Also as you know, to initiate the NEPA process, the PES (Preliminary Environmental Study) Form must be submitted and accepted. If the PES form hasn’t been accepted for your project by now, the NEPA approval for this year’s delivery will be at risk. Please work closely with your local assistance engineer if you have a project in that situation or give Stella a call should you like to discuss.
